Architectural Design, Project Supervision, and Space Design - In That Order
Luphix Designs is structured as a consultancy, not a generalist studio. The work is led by architectural design. Project supervision and space design are built on that foundation - each service informed by the discipline of the one before it. All three services can be engaged together or independently, depending on where your project is
Architectural Design
Architecture is the foundation of every project. Before a wall is built, the work that determines whether a building is safe, legal, buildable, and worth investing in must be done correctly. My architectural design scope begins with research and concept development - understanding the site, the brief, and what the space needs to do. From there, I develop detailed designs covering spatial planning, appearance, structure, and how the building is assembled. That thinking is delivered in the form of:

Construction specifications and details
Everything else your build may require - bills of quantities, structural drawings, environmental impact statements, building permits, electrical and mechanical drawings... is handled by the relevant specialist. I coordinate with those professionals and advise the client on what is needed and when, but I am clear that those are separate inputs, not part of the architectural design scope.
Project Supervision
A good design only delivers its full value when it is executed accurately. Project supervision puts a professional between your investment and the risks of unsupervised construction. I conduct bi-weekly site inspections - or more frequently where the build requires it, to verify that construction follows the approved drawings and building regulations. After each inspection, I provide construction advisory: confirming where works are good to progress, or identifying changes that need to be made before the build continues. This service can be engaged as part of an architectural design project or independently, for clients who have drawings produced elsewhere and need professional oversight on their site.
Space Design
Space design is the discipline that determines how a completed structure looks, feels, and functions as an inhabited environment. It covers both interior design and exterior or landscape design - applied to residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces. The scope mirrors architectural design in its structure: research and concept development, spatial planning, visual design, 2D and 3D impressions, and fabrication or construction specifications. I deliver how a space can be - in drawings and visuals your contractor can work from. Space design can run alongside an architectural project or be commissioned independently once a structure is complete.
When to Engage
Not Just Design - Clear Direction. Luphix does not simply create designs and step away. I guide the decisions that shape the entire project and stay involved where it matters - so the final result reflects the original intent without compromise.
Scenario 1
You have land and need to understand what can be built. Start with architectural design. Concept development, planning, and drawings form the foundation for everything else - approvals, construction, and any future supervision.
Scenario 2
You have approved drawings and want them built correctly. Project supervision. I come on site, verify the work at each stage, and provide the advisory that keeps construction aligned with the design.
Scenario 3
Your structure is complete and the space needs to be resolved.
Space design. Whether interior, exterior, or both - I design the environment and deliver the specifications your contractor needs to execute it.
