Project Management
Construction Monitoring + Advisory for Residential and Commercial Projects in Uganda
Designs on paper only become what you paid for when someone professional verifies that construction is following them - at every stage. Project supervision provides that verification.

1. Site Management on Behalf of the Client

2. Contractor Coordination and Accountability

6. Prompt Reporting and Transparency

What Project Supervision Includes
Luphix Designs provides professional project supervision and management ensuring your build is executed accurately, materials are verified, and your approved drawings are followed.
Construction Monitoring
I carry out bi-weekly site inspections - or as frequently as the project requires, to confirm that construction is progressing in accordance with the approved architectural drawings and building regulations. Each inspection is structured around the current build phase and documents what has been completed against what was specified.
Construction Advisory
Following each inspection, I provide written advisory to the client. Where the construction is proceeding correctly, I certify that works are good to progress. Where changes are required - due to deviation from the design, quality concerns, or regulatory compliance - I document those findings clearly and advise on what needs to be corrected before the build continues.
How it Works - the Process
1. Design Review and Scope Agreement
We discuss your project in detail - site, program, budget constraints, and timeline. This conversation forms the basis for the design brief.
2. Site Inspections and Construction Monitoring
At each scheduled site visit, I assess work completed against the approved drawings, document the build status, and flag any non-conformances. Where questions arise between inspections, I am available to advise without delay.
3. Construction Advisory and Certification
After each inspection, I provide written advisory confirming whether works are proceeding correctly or identifying specific items that need to be addressed. Where the build is ready to progress to the next phase, I certify accordingly.
Pricing
Project supervision fees are based on project type and the duration of the engagement. Pricing is confirmed after an initial review of the drawings and build schedule.

Who This Service Is For
Project supervision is most valuable when construction decisions carry long-term consequences and the client does not have the technical background to verify them independently.
1. Clients with approved architectural drawings - produced by Luphix or another architect — who want professional oversight during construction
2. Property developers managing contractors across a multi-unit or phased build
3. Business owners fitting out a commercial, hospitality, or healthcare space
4. Homeowners who want accountability on site without having to be present at every stage
5. Clients mid-build who have concerns about quality, compliance, or deviation from the original design
Why This Matters
Without professional supervision, three problems occur reliably on construction projects:
1. Contractors deviate from approved drawings — in dimensions, structural details, or material specifications — often without informing the client, and often in ways that affect the integrity of the finished building.
2. Costs escalate beyond agreed budgets because variations are introduced informally, without documentation, and clients have no independent reference point to assess whether a claimed extra cost is justified.
3. Disputes arise at the end of a project, when the client discovers the work does not match what was agreed and there is no contemporaneous record to support either position.
